Back At It Again

Hello again my friends! There was a delay in posting for a number of reasons but I hope that you all enjoyed my last post where I interviewed my dear friend and 1960s vintage loving babe, Alisha. I am back with a standard Outfit of the Day. Today was a 60 degree day which I’m guessing will be the last nice day for awhile. I relish in the last days of warmth and the final days of fall.

I rarely wear my hair in its natural state out for the world to see and decided to photograph it for the blog. I’ve been really into Heritage Store’s Rosewater & Glycerin spray and use it in my hair for a “pick me up” for my hair. For hair accessories, I opted for my favorite headband—my thick black velvet rhinestoned headband from Target. You guys have all seen me wear this coat which is one of my favorites—my Isaac Mizrahi fitted grey tweed coat that I bought from Salvation Army a year or two ago.

I’m continuing on with my 1960s and 70s inspiration. This fabulous paisley printed dress was gifted to me by my dear friend and fellow costume designer friend, Lady Jen Ryan, who has gifted me many wonderful items that I have featured in this blog. This dress by Laundry by Shelli Segal is no different. I love the sea color palette of the dress. Due to the weather, I wore knee high black knit socks and my black ankle boots.

This dress brings me so much joy. Prints and bright color palettes are my go to. For earrings I wore my dangly tear drop rhinestone earrings from Designer Consignor.

Off guard pictures are always funny so I’ve decided to end with an off guard. I hope you all enjoyed this little post and I will see you next week!
