Gal Friday Vintage Launch

Darlings, I have an announcement that I am so excited about! Gal Friday Vintage is up and running!! (You can browse my shop here). I've spent the past year collecting vintage gems that I deem charming and eccentric. I've collected loungewear, outerwear, daywear, and accessories from 1920s - 70s, mostly 1950s/60s. I am giving you a peak at some pieces that are in theme with my "Nightgowns" blog series. The piece showcased above is a gorgeous 1940s "Fischer Heavenly Lingerie" acetate rayon full slip in chocolate brown.

I just love how pretty vintage tags are and this one is a late 1950s Barbizon full slip in baby blue with lace trimmings and pretty embroidery.

This is one of my favorite finds, it is a rare 1920s silk kimono in the most lavish peach color

This 1950s Mojud nylon tricot baby pink nightgown combines tissue delicate pleats, lace, and a gathered bodice.

I've spent years dreaming of owning a vintage shop and I hope that one day I can own a pretty brick and mortar. My inspirations consists of stylish Old Hollywood women such as Audrey Hepburn, Dorothy Dandridge, Sophia Loren, Eartha KItt, and Elizabeth Taylor. As well as Mad Men, vintage magazines (Ladies' Home Journal, Ebony, and Woman's Own), and vintage illustrations. I view Gal Friday Vintage as a lifestyle and brand that I want to continue to grow. I created an Instagram account for Gal Friday Vintage (here) which showcase items that I am selling, vintage inspiration images, quotes, and videos, and blog content. I hope you all are just as excited as I am for this latest development and I thank you for supporting me!
