Color Blocked
She's back with another Outfit of the Day. I've been feeling very inspired by the fact that the weather is warmer. One of my favorite things to do in spring when I don't want to go floral is color block. I love to use really bright, saturated colors.
My modern hunter green wool turtleneck was purchased at Salvation Army for $5. I love wearing this turtleneck when the weather is in between hot and cold because I can eliminate having to wear a sweater. My bright red wool pencil skirt (1960s vintage) was purchased from the Salvation Army for $6. I think the red against the hunter green makes for a good pairing! My black suede heels with big buttons on the side of the thick straps were purchased from Payless for $25. And my vintage dangle earrings have a little green reflected on the balls which brings out the hunter green of my turtleneck even more.
My purse is a vintage 1950s crocodile handbag with gold hardware. This is one of my favorite purse finds! I snagged it at Attenson's Coventry Antiques and Books.
Hope you all enjoyed this little Outfit of the Day post. And I will be back next week for more content!
